Charming and quaint, Stirling House is a beautifully renovated stone cottage set in the heart of the Adelaide Hills. Situated on a leafy laneway, it is only steps from the renowned Aptos Cruz Gallery and a pleasant stroll up to the village of Stirling with its many shops, restaurants and cafes.

With a bus-stop nearby, it's the perfect spot for couples or families wanting to visit the city or explore the many attractions of the region.

All the comforts of home are provided in this very well-appointed three bedroom cottage, making it an extremely comfortable base for up to six people (children are welcome, with bond). Stirling House is ideal for a romantic weekend in the Hills or a longer family holiday.

The Sitting Room at Stirling House provides guests with a most comfortable spot to relax after a hard day sightseeing – 2 plush sofas with squishy cushions and soft throw rugs, an open fire, TV/DVD/VCR/CD player and an extensive selection of books, magazines and DVDs.

For an intimate candlelit dinner or a family meal, the Dining Room has a setting for 6 and cosy, slow-combustion fire with ample wood.

There is also a writing desk for those needing a convenient spot to send emails, make phone calls etc. (Dial-up network available)

The country Kitchen is fully equipped with a large range of quality crockery, cutlery, utensils and cookware. Included is a washing machine for extended stays, a small breakfast table and we can also supply a highchair,
if required. The kitchen comes well stocked with breakfast provisions (short stays only) which include:

• a selection of cereals
• variety of teas
• ground and instant coffees (espresso and decaf)
• hot chocolate
• a variety of spreads
• fresh bread and croissants
• milk, orange juice and yogurt
• fresh fruit
• crackers and cookies
• port and chocolates
• condiments such as salt and pepper, olive oil, balsamic vinegar and tomato sauce

For an additional charge, we can also supply ingredients for a full breakfast – bacon, eggs, tomatoes and mushrooms and/or special occasion goodies like a bottle of wine and fresh flowers.

The cottage contains one Shower Room with a large shower cubicle and vanity unit – the toilet and a small handbasin are in a separate room. Guests are supplied with soaps and bodywash, a hairdryer and fluffy towels, hand towels, facewashers etc.

Stirling House has three bedrooms – one queen, one double and bunks in the third bedroom. We can also supply a cot with bedding, if required. An amazing night's sleep is guaranteed on the luxury ensembles with
feather-down quilts and pillows, made up with superior designer linens and fitted with electric blankets. For those guests with allergies, there are latex pillows and supersoft "bamboo" blankets. The queen and double rooms have ample storage, bedside tables and reading lamps, full length mirrors and clock radios/CD players.

For stays longer than 2 weeks, we provide a complimentary service clean and change of linen at weekly intervals.

For alfresco dining during the warmer months, there is a large brick-paved area with a barbeque, outdoor table and chairs for 6, shaded by a magnificent old oak. We supply a full range of acrylic ware for outdoor dining.
